The Royal Standard (Baton Rouge) is looking for a part-time Sales Leader!
Summary: The Sales Lead is an individual who specializes in delivering excellent customer service while maximizing sales/profitability. He/She is a Sales (Retail) Associate with additional management responsibility. He/She promotes the sale of products to customers, ensures policies and procedures are followed, and acts as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Additionally the Sales Lead may be asked to do administrative tasks such as counting the register, helping make the store schedule, etc.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Initiating and developing customer relationships, and resolving customer service issues.
- Working a register to tender sales, make exchanges, refunds, transfers, etc.
- Reach or exceed store sales goals and motivating sales staff to reach or exceed store sales goals.
- Following and enforcing store policies with customers and employees.
- Merchandise displays, signage, to promote sales.
- Cleanliness and overall store appearance.
- Tags merchandise and double checks for errors or corrections.
- Calculates sales discounts.
- Maintaining inventory and store supply levels.
- Ensuring required store opening and closing duties are complete.
- Delegating daily tasks to associates and supervising associate activities while acting as the Manager on Duty.
- Communicating with and assisting the Store Manager with any and all operations of the store.
- Special projects as assigned.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
- Manages difficult customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs and solicits customer feedback to improve service. Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to develop solutions to “new problems” and unforeseen issues; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers information.
- Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
- Ability to perform basic computer functions and utilize computer system, Retail Pro (point of sale software).

Physical Demands:
- The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, and walk and must have ability to view a computer screen accurately.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- The employee must occasionally life and or move up to 200 pounds or more with the assistance of another employee(s).
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years in retail sales leader or key holder position experience required.
- Experience in managing soft lines, interiors, gifts, or accessories.

The Royal Standard (Baton Rouge) is looking for part-time Warehouse Associates!
Summary: The Warehouse Associate assists in the operations and maintenance of all equipment, furniture, and TRS warehouse facilities. He/She assists with inner-store tasks and customer deliveries to off-site locations.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provides outstanding customer service to each client encountered; Interacts with customers for merchandise delivery, Assists in customer service related tasks as needed
- Wears appropriate TRS attire in the warehouse and on deliveries
- Walks through retail store and warehouse identifying product that needs upkeep, damage repair, etc. Reports damaged merchandise to supervisor and assists with repairs, Utilizes appropriate equipment for furniture repair
- Utilizes appropriate equipment for customer delivery (blankets, straps, dolly, etc.); Assists with the proper loading of delivery vehicle with all furnishings and necessary installation supplies
- Assists with the delivery of merchandise to off-site locations and helps unload all merchandise ensuring safe and undamaged delivery
- Delivers and sets-up furniture per customer request. Ensures items are clean and damage free and client is satisfied upon completion.
- Assists customers with packaging and getting merchandise to and from their vehicles
- Assists in weekly deliveries of merchandise made to other stores
- Uses all warehouse equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Ensures materials and equipment are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
- Assists in keeping warehouse, dock and storage areas are clean, organized and maintained with proper supplies, Maintains a clean and organized work station.
- Disposes of warehouse, store trash, and recycling; including all exterior grounds, interior building, vehicle, and storage containers
- Assists with maintenance, repairs, and landscaping at all locations
- Assists with locating, moving merchandise, and furniture moves for displays in warehouse and stores, Assists with store-wide retail inventory as needed
- Other various job tasks as assigned
Skills & Abilities:

The Royal Standard (Baton Rouge) is looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager!
Summary: The Assistant Store Manager is an individual who specializes in delivering excellent customer service while maximizing sales/profitability. He/She assists the Store Manager in all aspects of operations, supervision, sales, merchandise/inventory, and more. The ideal candidate has a “can-do” attitude, able to think and react quickly, and has a passion for all things retail. Work in a local, unique retail store that is fast-paced and fun!
Responsibilities Include:
- Initiating and developing customer relationships, and resolving customer service issues in a timely manner
- Motivating sales staff to reach or exceed store sales goals
- Monitoring sales performance, planning and assigning daily goals
- Enforcing store policies with customers and employees
- Assisting with floor moves, maintaining merchandise displays, signage
- Monitoring the store for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and overall store appearance
- Maintaining inventory and store supply levels, delegating inventory tasks to Sales Associates/Leads
- Ensuring signage and markdowns are correct, keeping current with sales/clearance initiatives
- Tagging of merchandise, updating, delegating tagging efforts to Sales Associates/Leads
- Working with Corporate Visual Merchandise manager on displays and adhering to Corporate Visual Standards
- Evaluating effectiveness of displays, profitability, customer interest, etc.
- Processing weekly Store Requests, Store Minimum Inventory List, and Transfers
- Delegating miscellaneous tasks to associates activities while acting as the Manager on Duty
- Communicating with and assisting the Store Manager with any and all operations of the store.
This position requires an individual who is:

Requirements:
